Calgary is a little bit cowboy, a little bit trendy and a whole lot of fun. I was amazed that this Alberta capital, the largest in this Canadian province, had so much personality! There's amazing local food, charming bike paths along the river, a really happening downtown nightlife scene and some fantastic hotels (Hotel Arts, looking at you). I really was amazed by the little neighborhoods and the innovative new hotspots like a food container bar, an incredible cocktail bar, the delicious Simmons Building and so much more. I even get totally outfitted as a cowgirl, just like any Calgary girl should. Big thanks to Tamara from Globe Guide to being my awesome local tour guide!

NAIT Hokanson Chef in Residence and Food Network personality David Adjey sat down to chat with bloggers in Edmonton on March 16, 2010. People were also sending questions through Twitter. http://www.nait.ca/44526_59763.htm Note: While we said it would be an uncut video, the evening went long, so we had to cut for time. Some viewers may also find some of the content offensive, so further cutting was needed (to keep our jobs) but by still trying to portray the personality that is David Adjey. Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of NAIT or the techlife editorial team.

Still keeping in line with my core values of "Photography. Motivation. Life Lessons", the guests I want to sit down with will not only be from a photographic background but as diverse and colorful as their awesome personalities can be. That's what drives me. That's what I want to tap into and that I hope to be able to bring to you over the next few months. That said, on this episode, I welcome the very inspiring and ever-so talented Chef Alain Lemaire; Co-Owner & Exe...
